About Allen J. Martin Park

Allen J. Martin Park on Giordano Street in La Puente was largely rebuilt within the last few years, according to the county. A new community building went up, a splash pad was added, the basketball court was refurbished, and new trees were planted, and the buildings are painted in bright colors.

Alongside the splash pad there are a concession stand beside the baseball and softball fields, a fitness zone, civic art, a computer lab, play areas, and group picnic shelters. Cheerleading, flag football, soccer, springball and travelball, dance and theatre arts, and tiny tots classes are listed, as are after-school programs, day camps, and summer lunch.

The splash pad runs from May 1 through September 30, every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
