About Stoneview Nature Center

Stoneview Nature Center is a five-acre urban sanctuary in the Blair Hills of Culver City, with views across the Los Angeles basin from the Santa Monica Mountains to the Hollywood Hills. Rather than wild trails, it focuses on gardens and wellness: meditative garden spaces, artwork, a demonstration garden, and a community kitchen, with programs such as all-levels yoga and guided urban nature walks.

The center is a link in the planned Park to Playa Trail, a corridor meant to connect state, county, and city parks from Playa del Rey to the Baldwin Hills. It is open Tuesday through Sunday and closed Mondays.

On weekends and holidays, the Link Baldwin Hills Parklands Shuttle runs from the Metro Expo/La Cienega station to Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area and the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; rides cost 25 cents, and seniors and children under 5 ride free.
