About Ted Craig Regional Park

Craig Regional Park was completed in 1974. Its landscape of rolling hills, many kinds of mature trees, open space, a small lake, three year-round creeks, and a rose garden gives it a calm feel, and walkways, picnic tables, and benches are spread through the shade.

The 3-acre lake draws migratory waterfowl every year, and radio-controlled model sailboats may be launched on it. The park is also a wildlife sanctuary and a popular bird-watching spot.

Six picnic shelters and two group areas have tables and barbecues, with more tables and grills scattered across the grounds. Sports facilities include three softball fields, a baseball field, jogging trails, horseshoe pits, and a complex with basketball, volleyball, and racquetball/handball courts; there are no soccer fields. Bike and walking trails run through the park. Parking is $3 per vehicle on weekdays and $5 on weekends, and more on some holidays and event days.
