About Collier Park

Collier County Park is an 8-acre community park in Ramona with a naturally shaded picnic area, tables, and barbecues. Its walkable grounds of grass, trees, and shrubs include a California native plant garden, two shaded playgrounds, a tennis/pickleball court, and a basketball court. A Boys and Girls Club on site has an indoor-style soccer arena. Alcohol is not allowed in the park.

The Collier County Park Community Garden opened on June 18, 2025, in the southwest corner of the park, with ADA-accessible access from the center of the park. Its 32 beds (eight 3-by-4-foot beds, 22 4-by-6-foot beds, and two ADA-accessible beds) are rented annually from the County of San Diego. Gardeners have water at every bed, a shared compost bin, a lockable shed for tools, and removable screens. The garden was paid for with ARPA grant funding.
